What an amazing Scriptural approach to addiction.
While the 12 Steps founders communicated their ideas of a “higher power” and multiple disciplines, Pastor Harris has identified the cause of addiction, identified the “power” and provides a true road map to freedom.
I now realize that anything that replaces God in our lives is a form of rebellion and Idolatry.
His honest and straight-forward counseling is a great source of peace and reassurance.

Pastor Harris It was a blessing for me to hear this lesson. It was a blessing to be able,(though I was at home this past Sunday) to be reminded of the Isaiah 58 fast. It encouraged and strengthened my walk with the Lord.

I need to get into the word of God more to give me a stronger mind of God and a stronger heart of God in order that I might hear what I need in God’s way not my way. In order that I do the things I should do and not the things I want to do. Transforming my mind and heart is what I want God to do for me so that I will be effective in leading those in this world ( family and friends) to Christ. I have faith to believe and wait on Him and while I wait I must do something and that is study the word of God and such. I read in Clo3:1 that “If I be risen with Christ I should seek those things which are above..”.

Thank you for the word of God that you preach and teach it enlightened me

Pastor Harris, I Thank God for You!!!!!!! You have been such an inspiration to not only me, but My Son and Daughter – Terry and Nakelia Boykin. I ask Terry almost every week “What did Pastor Harris Preach Today” and of course my Son always shares the word with me and I am blessed.
